A child story

Assalam and good day everyone

Talk about my 3rd child. A daughter named Akmal Alyana, but we call her fam, her nick name of Fatimah.
I gave birth to her when my mother passed away like 4 months before that. So, to keep memory alive, we named her Akmal after my late mother's name. But when i got pregnant, i really wanted to name my child a malay, classic name and we thought of giving her nama 'Fatimah'.

So everything went well until i gave birth to her and a day after we went home from the hospital, she could not sleep and cry all night. I thought that was normal for a baby to cry maybe to adjust to a real world after 9 months in my womb. Anyhow, it did not turn out well until few days and i was so tired could not get enough sleep and i had to take turn to calm her down with my maid. My husband was around but only a few days he had to go back to work in KL while i was in Terengganu. Luckily I had maid that time. My father also helped me out with some doa's and thing like that worried a small baby like that might have been seen by something/entity (keteguran).

So after 7 days like that, i really could'nt stand with her crying anymore. We did anything we can to soothe her, calm her down but nothing really helped.

And you know what, out of my temper i yelled at her "fatimah! what do you really want??" i had not give her name at that time, she immediately stopped crying! as if u switch off the plug. Just like that. Gee...after that i told everybody in my family to call her fatimah. But when we want to register her name, my father suggest me her real name now after my mother. So i just follow but still call her Fatimah until now. When her teacher asked me about Alyana, I am also confused who that Alyana is! hahahahhaha.

She is 6 years old and one thing good about her she is a fast learner and really likes to read, write, colour anything involves learning (her style la) compared to her brother and sister. Going to Tadika Kemas Shah Alam since 5 years old i consider she picks up very fast. Always come back from school with presents and always represent her school in most of the school activities everywhere.

But, to feed her is very difficult! I have to think of 2 kind of breakfast every weekend otherwise she wouldn't eat at all. She does not eat bread, only rice, anything made from flour she won't touch it. She will even throw up if you asked her to pick up a slice of bread. She just won't touch! So, for breakfast which we usually have bread on the table, a quick breakfast won't do for her. I have to boil eggs, or maybe she had biscuits. So, this explain why she is so skinny, and sometimes weak. Even she eats, its very little. All vitamins i feed her but i don't see anything works. But luckily she still active at school.

With her presents
Alhamdulillah, i always pray for her success and her happiness. So do my other children. Hopefully she will grow being a pious, successful person. amiinn.

Sambal Tumis Udang

Assalam all,

Yesterday i went blogwalking, actually not to mention, everyday. So while did that i stumbled upon a recipe from Kak Ita of masam manis wrote about her sambal tumis udang. Omg...i forever love with this kind of sambal and all kind of sambal too but too bad i am not good at cooking it. Well, raised in the east coast which i think our specialty is not with spicy food so i could not say i can cook sambal well compared to people from the southern states.

However, looking at her pics and all, made me impatiently to go back and cook for last night's dinner. I followed all her instructions except for the chilies i did not blend it on my own, it was a chili paste i already had at home.

Actually i asked and learned from many people about their good sambal but i did not know where i went wrong, it turned out not so good, or air tangan maybe? hehheheh
Ok, I tried kak Ita's and............it turned out so well. To my best i think! chewahh.

So, whoever love sambal you can always try out this recipe and her tips of making a good sambal.

So to complete our dinner last night i added up with few dishes as well as a mouth watering sambal tempoyak. And wow, for dinner it was considered a success when my hubby and children all finished two plates of rice and of course, me gain a kilo today. But sorry kak ita, i don't blame you, its just your sambal is too good.

Ikan Sinngang ( a traditional Terengganu dish)
So, that's all from last night's dinner. Hope you all enjoy..byeeee

To KIDZANIA we are!

Assalam dear darlingssss semua... :)

Ok, its a school holiday. Actually end of a week of school holiday. For a big family like us with a small and junk transport like us, where else can we head during school holiday? Especially with a limited leave balance i have, i can't think anywhere else other than KL or Selangor only (pity my children)
So...one morning in the office while scrolling down my email, there i saw mydeal offer (I am a subscriber). A great offer i think because it is so so cheap and affordable for a family like us to be there, KIDZANIA! Plus it has been my children's dream since they have heard talk from their friends, cousins who had been there. And without thinking any further there i click BUY! huhuuu...surprise!!! for my chidren. So here it is the copy of my voucher.

Fyi, for whom who never been here or plan to come here, here is the ticket info. And what i got that day was very cheap i think because otherwise i would end up paying like RM285 for one whole family. Since the Mydeal offer is RM115 for a parent and 3 children, I add another RM70 to include my daughter (toddler) and my husband. Which end up I only pay RM185. pheewww..hahhaha..Its a math lol!

Lets enjoy the pics!

The Landlord
 Among the participating outlets

So here, the concept is like your children work, earn the money after that spend the money. Once you enter into the Kidzania area and purchase the tickets, the staff will give you a cheque which later you will exchange for kidzos cash with value $50. It's like a petty cash la..Like all the outlets in the pics above, it is a learning place, your children get to learn on how to do chocolates, vitagen, learn to be a midwife, a doctor, and anything that requires learning, you have to pay them with kidzos cash they give you earlier. it is like this;

There you see +8 means you will get a salary from the city parade you join
Haaa...got it? wow..quite long i have to tell ya! and if it is -8 means you have to pay them like my children's pic below, they learn in chocolate making and got to eat them too :)

And now there's a place where they worked and earned some money

With Pos Laju where they send parcels to designated outlets

Being a paramedic officer

 Fam acted as a patient

Allisya and Syakir in a conti being a Hot FM deejay
It is quite tiresome, really! me and hubby got to walk around the place assisted my daughter because her bro and sister wouldn't be interested joining her, that's why i don't have pics of them together. Teenage affairs.

So, after you earned enough, let's enjoy!!! You can exchange the kidzos cash with items such as toys, stationaries, face drawing etc, etc, with some value. They even have Playstation! I don't know how many million times you have to come or you work day and night in order to exchange with the psp.

Anyway, we had a good time there. Including my not-anymore-little baby, Miqhail. Which i enrolled him and his sister in the elementary school for free. Oh yeahh..i missed the bubble bath for them because i only found out that "bungalow" when the place nearly closed for biz.

A prison
Eh, so sudden i came up with a prison pic. hehehhehe...actually bluff us, we thought it was unbreakable like a normal prison because it looks so real. But then, there's one kid casually went to the bar and just move them to side. hhahahahaahh..tipah tertipu!!
Apalagi, we put both Maryam and Miqhail inside juz for posing purpose haa...not for real (nauzubillah..)
But too bad i don't have the pic with me, it is in my hubby's hp.

One more thing, mind you, please eat really full before you come here for the food inside here is miraculously, hehehehh expensive! you'll have to fork out rm16 for a plate of nasi goreng. Taste? i don't know, never try it out. Drinks prices ranges from RM5-8. Afterall we already had our lunch before that.

Finally, I would say it was fun, enjoyable eventhough quite tired and memorable visit and definitely will come here again especially when my little toddlers grow up a bit and able to work on their own.

Food Review: Delicious @ Sunway Pyramid

Assalam Peeps!

Ok, to make this blog alive, I swear i must at least post something once a week. Pheeww... :p

Feast your eyes with this food from DELICIOUS

Pavlova topped with lychees and strawberries with chocolate sauce

Beef Steak with garnishing

The Ambience

My comment? hmm..eh no drink pics snapped? sorry ya. terlupa la tu. Overall from the food I think it is just OK. Meat is quite chewy hence it is hard to digest! hehehhe. As for pavlova, it is of course tasty, superb and delicious. For sweet tooth out there i think it is a must but mind you a combination of pavlova that is sweet and topped with chocolate sauce might give u double acceptable sweetness.

And for the ambiance, I will give 4 stars! It's very cosy, romantic, so pastel in colors and the dimmed light, but yet you can still see your food. No worry for that part.

So, for whoever interested to give it a try, head to Sunway Pyramid groud floor, old wing ya!

A come back from Dataran Putrajaya

Assalam Folks!

Wow!! looking at my last post, how time flies so fast! It's been nearly a year i haven't update anything here. Huhu..
As usual, keeping myself busy is not what i wish, but looks like i have been busy all year long.
But Alhamdulillah, despite juggling myself as a mother, wife, worker and a student, God has grant me an excellent health. Syukur Ya Allah...

My god, what I'm going to write? I am not good at writing but  when i think about something, it feels like I want to spit it all in writing.

Ok lah, as a starter for 2014, let me start with my children's activity at Dataran Putrajaya which becomes one of my children's favourite hangout place.
