Hokkaido Seafood Restaurant

Assalam n Good Day

Last weekend, not knowing where to go, after seeing my hubby's friend at StarHype Fiesta at parking lot, Stadium Melawati, he just drove us around and that brought us to KL. We seldom go to KL unless we have something like visiting my in-laws or attending to something. Because my hubby works in KL so he prefers other area for outing.

Since it passed dinner time i was like damn hungry and decided to go to this seafood restaurant. It was my first time there. I read about this restaurant through other blogs and sound so delicious so we wanted to give it a try.Its not difficult to find the place for it is located really opposite Vistana Hotel. But the hardest part was searching for a parking space. OMG, since parking was full, and most of them were going to this restaurant, they resorted to park anywhere they wished. And that's even double park, triple park.

Me at first gave up to dine at this restaurant so hubby drove us around KL City but then he came back here hoping there's available parking space for us. hhmm...But i think maybe it was weekend so the place became crowded.

This was all i ordered. Enough for us because there were only 2 adults..us, parents.

Seafood tomyam in the middle.

Chili fried escargot

Thai fry seabass (winner)

Butter Prawn

Like I said, it was my first time here so i was not at all knew what's good, what to order, their recommendation, and most importantly when we eat out, we want menu. How do we know their food list if they don't have a menu. And so did this restaurant. It did not have a menu. I didn't know what to order. When I told the waiter what to order since this was my first time, he asked me to go inside and looked at their seafood ranged from prawn fish crabs vegetables etc etc and looked up at their food/cook selections pasted on the wall roof. I forgot to snap some pics here but hopefully u all understand what i mean.
So, not hesitate i just said what i used to order at other seafood restaurants. For butter prawn i think the one at BB Seafood Restaurant at Subang Airport is better. The rest like tomyam was delicious, very tasteful with prawns, squids, escargots. Then come Deep fried seabass Thai style. owwhhh..this one was sinfully delicious. A thick chillied and i think shrimp pasted gravy, taste really like you eat sambal belacan but a gravy version. It left smell to my hands like u only hold a shrimp paste. But it was good, good and good especially with a fresh shredded onions and bird's eye chili topped on the deep fried fish. huhuu..i packed that home too because its not nice to bite fish till your last breath in front of others. Better do at home. hahhahahahah. Then I ordered escargot and i think it s just ok. I don't know if its normal like that but its quite chewy.
With rice and drinks of fresh orange and a jug of chinese tea that night, it cost us like 150++, which i think quite costly because with a same order at BB Seafood Subang i can get them maybe lesser than that. Anyway, Alhamdulillah for God's sustanance that able to feed me n my family.

A malay wedding teaser

Assalam N Good day

Ok this will just be a teaser
A quick writeups.

It will only be a few days away of my little brother's wedding. He's not the youngest but can be considered the last wedding be held in my family.

I will in the next coming entry blogged about my brother's wedding but the key point here is i want to highlight the malay wedding ceremony which i personally think a bright and colourful  not only to the colour but to the family relationship itself.

Enjoy the pics from google before i upload a real one. Till then, have a bright day ahead everyone!

Kek Pisang and All

Assalam N Good Day!

Today is already end of week. huhu..what a relieve. I love friday, n i know everybody loves friday because usually working time on Friday feels so short. Get to go back and never worry what to wear tomorrow, to rush myself in the morning sending kids to school, free from the hassle of thinking what not especially packed breakfast for my kids. And the best will be waking up stress free.

But for me, Saturday is a laundry day. Doesn't matter if i start a bit late but still i can dry up my laundry and if worst come to worst especially when laundry needs to be fold (worst here means a 2 or 3 hills of unfold clothes) then i will wake up very early and maybe at 7am i already started folding the clothes. Clothes for 7 persons in the house which sometimes it can cause me retarded. pheww.
hahaha..ok kidding, but really cause me back pain. And it normally lasts till 12 o clock. If that seriously hilly laundry, that's mean a 2 weeks free time for me. Lazy me.

Ok, today i just wanna share pics of my cooking this week. If my rajin mood comes, then it will be a lot lah. Otherwise stall food. But now i think i must buy less stall food and DIY is better. Just one thing, lack of ideas and it will be same food every other day.

My kids packed breakfast with side like Jemput pisang and banana cake.

My Banana cake (Recipe taken from blog azie kitchen

Masak Lemak ikan masin nenas

Ok, I still don't have strength to do a bento style breakfast. I need time management for that.
And for banana cake, since i bought a whole bag (a lot of it) a reduce to clear banana, then i really have to finish it and vary my banana dishes. I am yet to do banana smoothies and fritters.
As for masak lemak ikan masin, it's just a simple dish, but it is so unexpected that my two little kids love it very much. Its like a 3 bowls of rice i feed them. and my Maryam can barely eat that salted fish. So unlike me.

Dataran Putrajaya and Satay Willy

Assalam N Good day!

Ok, the title itself describes my story this time.
For KLites, weekend and 1st Feb public holiday which falls on Sunday and carry forward to Monday plus another festival that is Thaipusam on Tuesday is realllllyy heaven. No need to apply leave you got to go for holiday. So awesome! In my case, that only applies to my husband. Me? gotta work today as i'm in Selangor. Go for a leave when we are not going anywhere is such a waste. hahahhahahah. BTW, my brother's wedding is just a week away, so my leave is ever important that time.
And today i have my mr. momma at home.
Anyway, as requested by my children, we went some places nearby

She was not interested with this car because later she chose a superbike. Surprisingly she could handle it herself coz a superbike did not have a remote control.

And this boy, with somewhat a yellow ferrari and remote controlled by my husband

This two young lady with their roller skate. My daughter Fatimah skate with a support tyres so it could balance her.

Me n My sister in law who arrived later to pass something for me.
That's all at Dataran Putrajaya, my children favourite spot for now. They got to skate, cycle, drive with all sorts of things. All charged at RM10 either 20mins or 1 hour. If we go there later at night than my children get more times with their rental items.

Then we go for dinner

The two boys in the house

Ok, i just highlighted the satay willy. It is very very delicious or sinfully delicious? hahahah..i dont know but both are delicious. The mee goreng basah there also a well known and then we ordered Kuew teow goreng and kuew teow sup. I can't remember the stall's name but my Sis in law brought us here just out of Putrajaya area through "pintu belakang 1" putrajaya. Owh..its at Sg. Merab. The stall located right after MZ restaurant if am not mistaken and it has two of it which located opposite to each other.

So, kenyang perut berat mata

So what's up tomorrow? A holiday for Thaipusam.
A JJCM?
A waterfall at Hulu Langat (priority)
A stay home and laundry fold day (sigh..)

Eh, I have more actually.
Since my boy Miqhail loves aeroplane so much, actually he's excited when he saw aeroplane then we brought him here

Subang Skypark. He's screaming and mumbling his language excitedly.
